On Monday evening, club member David Kershaw presented a detailed talk about Photographic Distinctions. Dry you might think, but not at all! Packed with appropriate information, advice, and great imagery, all spiced up with a little humour, members were treated to an ‘everything you need to know’ about the subject. You can expect a Rough Guide shortly.

Covering the differences between the RPS route and that of the PAGB, David emphasised the value of putting together a portfolio of images for the two disciplines, even if you didn’t actually enter for the awards. This he said, would undoubtably improve a photographers’ skill set. Advice from club members would be freely given too.
