The second round of four, in our Club Photographer of the Year competition, had a theme of landscapes. Members could enter two prints and two digital images, to be judged by Stephen Dean, of the YPU.

Stephen proved a considerate judge, providing constructive criticism with useful compositional tips and editing advice. His scoring was generous, reflecting the high standard of the entries.

In the print section, Karen Smith was awarded first place with her image, 'Derwentwater'. Neil Clarke, took the leading spot in the digital section with another Lake District shot, 'Autumn Reflections'.

Congratulations to Karen and Neil, as well as all the other placed entrants.
